Preteens and preteen parents! Mark April 30 on your calendars for the next preteen fellowship at the Suwardi’s. We will start at 4:30 as usual. Parents are encouraged to attend for a special meeting.

Worship Workshop. Saturday, May 7 at 10:30am in the Function Room. If you are interested in participating in the music ministry or are curious to know what will be happening in the music ministry. Please let us know on the sign-up sheet at the back table if you are planning to attend.

Bukit Karmel Service Trip. Saturday, April 30 the teens will be going to Bukit Karmel to help with work projects and spend time with kids.For more information or to let us know your teen plans to come, please email pastordave@thejibc.org.

Friday Night Youth. Friday, April 29 from 6:30 - 9:00pm at the Atkins’ apartment. We’ll have some dinner, some games, some songs, and some Bible.

The elders are happy to announce the appointment of Mr. Kenneth Oh as our new Property and Facilities Director. Kenneth will be working with our deacons as JIBC’s primary contact for property related issues. Please pray for his ministry.

Student Service Outing to Bukit Karmel. The Student ministry will be traveling out to Bukit Karmel on Saturday, April 30th to assist the orphanage with various work projects and spend time with the kids. For more information, please email: pastordave@thejibc.org

Youth Parent Meeting. Immediately following the service there is a half hour meeting about information and updates on the youth ministry.

Easter Choir Practice. Today following the service at 12:30. It will go until 2:00pm. Come be a part of the music ministry as we prepare for Easter Sunday.

Please continue to turn in your Faith Promise slips for giving to the Lord’s ministry at JIBC in 2011. We have received 10 so far. If you have any questions or need assistance, please speak with Mr. Don Johnston or one of the JIBC Deacons.

Former JIBC Pastor Mel Gentry will be in town tomorrow evening. He is traveling through on a mission trip to India. If you would like to join him and other JIBC friends for dinner tomorrow night at Sate Senayan Paku Buwono, then please make a reservation at the table in the Occasion entranceway.

Easter Choir. If you are interested in making a joyful noise with a few other people and serving the church musically on Easter Sunday, rehearsals will begin this Saturday March 19th at 1:00pm in the Function Room for singers of all shapes and sizes.

Properties Director. If you have experience with handling commercial or residential properties and would like to serve JIBC in maintaining it’s properties, please contact the deacons at deacons@thejibc.org.

Attention Men! Are you interested in a Men’s Accountability group? This would be a group of three to four that meets a couple of times a month to share concerns, pray for each other, and encourage Christian accountability in a friendly, confidential, and supportive way. Sign up for a new Home Bible Study! There will be two new studies staring in March.  Tuesday nights at 7 PM there will be a study for adults and teens at the St. John’s house in Ciepete. On Wednesday nights there will be a study at the The’s house in Pondok Indah.  Sign up sheets are available on the back table.

“Calling all preteens! Mark your calendars for the next big Preteen Fellowship this Saturday (Feb. 27) at Uncle John Suwardi’s! We’ll continue our series “Fight the Good Fight.” Start time is 16:30 and we finish at 20:00. Join us for good fun, food, and fellowship with friends!”

Condolences Our sincerest sympathies to Edwin Pranoto and his family on the passing of his father on Wednesday, February 16. The wake is being held at Rumah Duka, Rumah Sakit Darmais. Please pray for Edwin Pranoto and his family.
