Looking for Christian fellowship and an opportunity to grow in Christ? Join a Home Bible Study in 2011. Elder-led Bible Studies will start soon on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. More information and sign up sheets are available at the Welcome Table.

Traveling to the US and in need of some dollars? You can help JIBC by exchanging dollars from our church office. We have many non-negotiable bills, but are acceptable anywhere outside of Indonesia.
More good news! Our church accountant informs us that our income last year was $223,000 (not just $219,000 as previously thought). Praise God for helping us meet and exceed our giving target for the 2010 budget. Now let’s be in continual prayer for the $27,500 per month needed for ministry in 2011

Welcome Lunch! After the service there will be a free lunch for all of our visitors from July-December of 2010. It is a chance for us to welcome you and get to know you.
Men’s Fraternity Lunch meets this Wednesday at 12 Noon at the Chatterbox in Plaza Senyan. Join us for good fellowship, food, and Christian encouragement! See Pastor Stephen for more information.
Friday Youth Fellowship. All teens are welcome to attend the youth meeting this Friday evening from 6:30 - 9:00 in the Function Room. Prepare yourself for the most amazing night of 2011!
Food Gathering Next week for Street Children’s Ministry and the Ministry of our sister Indonesian Language congregation. Please come with non-perishable food items or cash donations.

Announcements for January 23, 2011
Clarification of Children’s Church Announcement: The toddler group which meets during the Worship Service will continue and will also undergo some enhancements over the next few weeks. Starting February 6, the other Children’s Church programs will be suspended while the ministry is being reorganized. We want to thank those who are serving in these ministries. If you would like to be involved too, then please indicate your interest on the bulletin form and drop it in the offering bag or email JIBCelders@gmail.com
Men’s Fraternity Lunch is back in February! Starts Wednesday the 2nd at High Noon! More info is coming soon.
Youth Sunday. Sunday, January 30 will be student-led. This is an opportunity for you to see the youth in action serving our Lord and you next Sunday.
Friday Night Youth. JIBC youth will be meeting this Friday night from 6:30 - 9:00pm. Those members of the praise team for Youth Sunday will need to be there at 6:00pm for some rehearsal.
New Discipleship class led by Jack and Jan Harkless will begin next Sunday, January 30. Let Jack or Jan know, so they can have the resources available for you.

It’s time for Pre-teen Fellowship! We will enjoy our next pre-teen meeting on January 29th at the Suwardi’s home. Join us for fun, food, and a continuing study of “Fight the Good Fight.” Drop off time is at 4:30 and pick up time is between 8 and 8:30. See Deacon John for more information.
Children’s Church. After careful consideration, the JIBC elders have decided to suspend the Children’s Church program following the Sunday worship service on January 30, 2011.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! JIBC’s final offering income for 2010 was $219,004.49. This exceeds our target of $216,000 and is a great encouragement as we seek to expand our ministries in 2011. Be in prayer now for the $27,500 per month goal we have set for this year.

Friday Youth Fellowship will be held this Friday night in the Function Room from 6:30 - 9:00.
Adult Sunday Class taught by Pastor Stephen on Developing a Stronger Prayer Life will begin next Sunday.
The new Discipleship class taught by Jack and Jan Harkless will begin on Sunday January 30th.
All Adult Classes as well as Kids Klub I and II and Youth classes will start back up next Sunday at 9:15.
Announcements for 26 Dec, 2010
Holiday Schedule Changes. We will not have our 9:15 AM Kids Club 1 and Kids Club 2 classes today (Dec 26) or next week (Jan. 2). There is no Children’s Church (which take place during our worship time) today, but it will resume on January 2.
There will be no Adult Bible Study (ABS) on January 2. We will resume on January 9 with the new study on prayer.
Join a New Adult Bible Study on Sunday Morning’s in 2011: Developing a Strong Prayer Life begins on January 9 at 9:15 in the Function Room and The Growing in Christ Discipleship Class begins on January 30. Plan to join one of these two classes in the New Year! More information is coming soon.
Pastor Stephen and his family will be on leave from December 27 through January 2. He may not be able to receive calls and messages while he is away. If you have any pastoral concerns during that time, then please contact the church office or Pastor Dave.
