A good pastor friend of mine sent this article by Michael Spencer.  I agree with my friend who said the article was “overly pessimistic” and that we have good reason to be more hopeful than Mr. Spencer.  Nevertheless, he brings up some interesting points.  Enjoy reading and feel free to make your own comments here on the JIBC forum.

I would have to agree with most of what he says. I live in New Hamphsire, in the good ole USA and it's so spiritually dead it's scary. The churches that are thriving don't have truth.
