Interested in membership at JIBC?
You must be a member to vote in a meeting or hold an ordained office in the church. You must be a member or associate member to teach Sunday School or serve as a ministry director.
To become a member you must be a Christian, have received or be ready to receive believer’s baptism by immersion, believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and agree to follow the JIBC Constitution for church business matters.
Requirements for associate membership are the same, except it is not necessary to be baptized by immersion. JIBC maintains associate membership for those who want to remain members of a church in their home country or city and also for Christians whose conscience will not allow them to receive believers’ baptism by immersion.
If you would like to set up a membership interview or for more information, then please call the church office or email: office@thejibc.org or Click this link: JIBC Office
You can also download the Membership Form, print it off to give to an elder at our Sunday Services, or email it to: elders@thejibc.org or Click this link: JIBC Elders
